Saipem \u2013 Societ\u00e0 Azionaria Italiana Perforazioni e Montaggi<\/em>, worldwide leading company in engineering services, drilling and building big plants and oil & gas onshore and offshore pipelines, has once again chosen to rely on Euro Pipeline Equipment for a huge project which will carry up to 10 billions cubic meters of gas across Europe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the 16 machinery purchased by SICIM and sent to Turkey to build the TANAP Project, other 10 Performer GPL 980 have been requested in Azerbaijan and Georgia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Saipem<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

A first group of 5 Performer GPL 980 – pipelayer machines with a Max Lift capacity 98.000 Kg able to guarantee a continuous work flow – will operate soon around Shah Denyz Oilfield, located 90 Km far from Azerbaijan coast, to contribute to the building of SCXP – South Caucasus Pipeline Expansion Project<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pipeline will be of strategic value for the energy provision all over Europe: it will connect, in fact, Caspian Sea Oilfield both to TANAP project in Turkey and to TAP, the pipeline bringing Gas from Albania to Salento Region (Italy).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
